This Christmas, we’re inviting churches to come together for a simple but powerful act of kindness:

 

Collect gift cards for groceries, gas, or local stores & restaurants for single moms.

 

Whether a $10 card for coffee or a $100 card for groceries, every gift card will go directly to a single mom in our region. It’s a practical, personal way to show that the Church cares - not only about meeting spiritual needs, but also about bringing warmth, dignity, and hope to those who need it most.

Here’s how your church can participate:

1. Have a “Gift Card Sunday” on November 30 or December 7. An easy way to do this would for people to add a gift card to the offering plate or to have a special offering on that day.
    

2. Drop collected gift cards off at the Life Culture Office by Monday, December 8, or let us know if you would like us to pick them up.
    

3. We’ll ensure every card reaches a single mom in Southeastern Manitoba before Christmas through our Gifts of Joy campaign. We will also let them know the gift cards that come from your church.

 

Together, we can make sure that every single mom in our area knows she is seen, valued, and loved this Christmas.​
